Magic Kingdom

Here are the pictures from Magic Kingdom from Sunday. Amy and I had a great time and as you can see, Amy enjoys trying on different Mickey Ears to see which is her favorite one. I like the Minnie Ears with the Red Bow on it.

Orlando Magic Game

It has been a while since I have made a post but here is an update today for all of you. Work has been pretty steady and only 7 weeks until my vacation and my trip to Israel again. I will be in Israel from June 10-20 with Israel Outdoors again. Hopefully it will be as amazing as last summer.

I went to my final Magic Game last Sunday with Amy and Rebecca. It was a random grab bag giveaway and Amy was the big winner of the three of us. She won a Signed team ball and I got a Stuff Piggy Bank and Rebecca got a Hedo Glue Stick. Pretty cool for all three of us. It was also Amy's first basketball game so a pretty cool way to experience it.

Disney with Mason (oh yeah, Mom, Dad and Tayler)

I went to Disney MGM Studios with Mason, Tayler, Mom and Dad on Sunday and what a great day it was. We had such great weather and the park wasn't very crowded. Mason is full of personality and probably has been to Disney more since he is born than I have over the last few years. Pretty cool thing for a young lad. Here are a bunch of pictures from the fun day.

Mason with one of his favorite toys, Freddy the Firefly in the seat.

Mason with his daddy. What a happy baby.

Marin- Here is a picture for you from Cars. I thought of you when I took the picture. I hope you like it. I can't wait to see you soon.

What a proud uncle hanging out with Mason. Doesn't that look cute!!

Updates

The last week hasnt brought about too much. I did have some eventful times during the weekend. Saturday, Flat Stanley was returned home to Maitland and so my mom can take it back to the classroom.

I went and saw Billy Joel in concert at the Amway Arena (formerly TD Waterhouse Center) and had a really great time. He played for 2 hours and had 3 encores.

Sunday morning, I went with Tayler, Jaime, Mason, Lander, Mom and Dad to Cracker Barrell for breakfast. Pictures soon to follow. It was great to see everyone and see how much Mason has grown up. He almost has more hair then me. :)

The most interesting part of the weekend was Sunday night. I went to the Tampa JCC/Federation President's Dinner to hear Colin Powell speak. What made it interesting and exciting was when I got to the dinner I was told I was going to be able to meet Colin Powell. I went and got a picture with him and then waiting at my table was a signed book from Colin Powell as well. This was unexpected but a nice surprise. He had some good stories and especially growing up in the South Bronx and being the Shabbas Goy for a family as a kid.

1 Down, 9 To Go!!!!

Last night I finished the first class in my MBA program. I have 9 more left and then I will be complete. This has been a lot tougher than I imagined. I have written three (3000 word) papers over the course of a 6 week period. That was just the intro to MBA class. My next class is on Transformational Leadership. Sounds like something up my alley and ready for a new class.
February 2008 can not come soon enough - that is when graduation time. I can see myself getting to the end even though I just started.

Flat Stanley Visits WAMU!!!!

Flat Stanley made the travel and came to visit me at WAMU! He started his day lounging at my desk. A good way to find out the life of a banker.

Flat Stanley tried to get money out of the cash machine. He didn't have an account so he couldn't get any money. Maybe he needs to open one of our WAMU Free Checking accounts.
Flat Stanley is here visiting with one of my employees, Samantha.
What other way do bankers finish their day at work. They visit Starbucks. Flat Stanley had a nice stop at Starbucks before we left for the evening.

I hope Flat Stanley enjoyed his day at WAMU. He is on his way back home to Maitland.

Disney

I spent Sunday at WDW. I managed to get to Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios and EPCOT. The lines were very short and the park was pretty crowded. The weather was so nice to walk around. The only down thing was that Rockin RollerCoaster was not working at MGM. I still had fun though.

Tonight starts a new adventure for me. I have organized and started a new Young Adult Leadership Institute for the Tampa JCC/Federation. Working with my YAD Director, we have researched and designed a new program. There has not been one here and I decided why not organize one. We have 16 people for the first class and I am really excited that it is starting tonight.
